Same Songs!!

Hey y'all!
So recently I have grown real tired of the radio and the 20 or so songs that are always being played over and over again. It's especially awful when the same song like Timber is being played on multiple stations. I just can't deal with it sometimes anymore which I don't know if it's because my music taste has grown away from the cookie cutter pop or what, but I thought I would share some bands that have been heard of less or it is only one song they have that you have heard on the radio but not their only song worthy of your time.
1) Bastille- which has had Pompeii played occasionally on the radio but they have tons more to offer including covers and originals with a message.

2) The Lumineers- who have not been mentioned for anything since Hey Ho. This band does require a bit of a taste for their type of music but once you give them a chance and listen to their lyrics your eyes will be opened.

3) Twin Forks- who have become one of my favorites since their song, Back to You, was played in the premiere of Reign during the feather scene. They are moderately new and finally have an album scheduled to be released February 25th!

4) Echosmith- which one might have seen in the commercials of Teen Wolf. They are for siblings who have a message I believe in their lyrics.

5) Passenger- they like Bastille have one song on the radio, Let Her Go, but so many beautiful songs that are uplifting yet honest.

Clearly I like bands who have a message but there is something about a song that isn't just about sex, partying and relationships. There is so much more to life then all of that. Yes, I am aware that not all major songs are about all of that since Disney's Frozen's album did become number one on iTunes but there is only so many times that one can be asked to build a snowman. You know?
I hope you click on the links and they work!
Love y'all!
